Let The Dog Drive Home was recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark and the Faroe Islands. It is Teiturs fourth album to be sung in English. His 2007 release Kata Hornio was recorded in his native Faroese. Teiturs music has earned him a number of well-known fans, including KT Tunstall and RufusWainwright, and has seen him perform support slots for the likes of Suzanne Vega and John Mayer.
Speaking about the album, Teitur said:Most of these songs are about letting go, about being small and the realisation that things seldom turn out the way you expect them to. I can only hope these songs will become someone elses modest companion and I feel honoured that anyone would even listen to it once - although itll probably take more than one listen to be moved.
